This is a bugfix and feature and infrastructure release.
It should be a lot better than 0.7 in less focussed ways – e.g. icons, menu integration, better gconf support.

Do you have any more details on the changes, the changelog in the release seems to not have been updated.
I really like to have back the keyboard short-cut to split a window horizontally or vertically. Or are they still there?
oooh.. shame on me… i just did “man terminator” and saw the shortcuts (Ctrl-o for ‘horizontal split’ and Ctrl-v for ‘vertical split’)
