I’ve just uploaded a new version of Terminator!
This time we merry band of elves bring you a delightful mix of bug fixes and new features. Here’s the change log:

Head over to the homepage or Launchpad for the goodness. I’ve already pushed out source packages to the Ubuntu PPAs, which should be spinning up buildds soon, so expect binary packages shortly. I’m sure we’ll filter into Debian, Ubuntu Jaunty, Fedora, FreeBSD and more soon enough :)
Just wanted to drop a quick note of appreciation. Terminator has become my most-used app on my rigs, just ahead of Firefox ;-)
Hi, thanks for the great work that terminator is. I just wanted to remind you that there is no package for ubuntu jaunty(9.04) in the terminator ppa. You dont have to rebuild the current packages. ALl you need do is go to the ppa, and copy the intrepid package to jaunty. Thanks again

Hi, just want to say a great thank you, this terminal is really making my life easier.
I’m abit curious.. I use compiz-fusions grid addon with the standard gnome-terminals and I can do everything that terminator (great name btw :) can do? I must be missing something..
expelledboy: I’ve not played with that plugin, but there are a number of ways of doing similar things to Terminator.
Hi, I just re-discovered Terminator, and it’s looking pretty good these days. I’ll be testing it out over the next few days, deciding whether to switch away from mrxvt and start using Terminator.
One feature that I think would be really useful would be tight integration with (or cloning the features of) GNU Screen.
What does that mean?
well, mostly, what i want to do is to be able to run my terminal emulator at home, then when it’s time to go to work, detach the entire emulator (like screen). When i arrive at work, ssh back home an attach to the entire session, with all my tabs intact.
and vice-versa, from work to home.
(and, of course, like GNU Screen, the ability to attach a session even if i forgot to detach it before leaving work or home).
